General Zen is the iron-fisted, hot-headed military tactician of the Ministry of Defense.
Bio
General Zen comes from a long line of war heroes that fought in the First and Second World War. Zen was given an outstanding military education and rose through the ranks of the infantry until eventually becoming a leading General.
General Zen was dispatched to Sodor by the Ministry to oversee the construction of a new listening post as well as a the unloading of arms and explosives for a new armory.
During this time, he was spotted many times around Sodor, including at Vicarstown Airbase, near a bridge after the Tornado Incident, and at many other various places around Sodor.
He first came to the public's attention when it was believed his negligent behavior caused a massive fire that destroyed the entire city and took many lives. However, this fire was actually caused by the evil Sir Frederick Aura, who also killed Zen's loyal subordinate Captain Grant after the so-called "Munitions Incident". Zen was severely injured in the fire by pieces of hurtling debris and sent to a medical center, where he was treated by a doctor. However, to this day, he has vanished from public eye, and nobody knows his current whereabouts.
Zen was effectively discharged from the Ministry of Defense after the fire had been extinguished.
Persona
General Zen is overbearing, domineering, commanding, and will not accept any protocol other than his own. He will never admit when he makes a mistake even if it compromises the lives of others. He despises the technology of the past and always is searching for the highest quality gadgets and modes of transportation. He travels with Muddle, Mayhem, and Filibuster, his personal jeeps that were named by his faithful subordinate, Captain Grant.
