Bulldozer is the tenth episode of the first season.
Plot
Mavis is a diesel engine owned by the Ffarquhar Quarry Company. She shunts the freight cars for Toby to take them to the Harbour. Sometimes, Sir Topham Hatt allows Mavis to take short journeys along the line. She enjoys this very much, and she loves the opportunity to see the world. One day Sir Topham Hatt told Mavis to take an important load of stone to Knapford. Mavis went to take the freight cars, and she met Toby. He warned her to be careful and suggested her to keep a close eye on the line. Mavis only pretended to listen. She found some loaded cars on the siding and went to pick some more. Mavis stopped at the crossing and the freight cars were feeling bored. They tried to play tricks on Mavis, but she bumped the freight cars behind her, they were nearing the junction, the line passed through a valley. A landslide had blocked the line. Mavis and her driver had no idea about that until it was too late. Mavis' cowcatcher only made things worse. She derailed, the driver told her that she was not a bulldozer, and her cowcatcher was not made for pushing rubble off the tracks. Mavis was unhappy, and so was Toby when he heard the news. Sir Topham Hatt told Toby to work at the quarry for a while.
